Weigh Point has loadcells that attach onto the tooling arm of your robot. Now statistical product control (STC) or piece counting is simplified. For example, if you wish to check plastic parts for integrity, this can be done by measuring the piece weight while on the robot tooling arm and inputting the measurement to your PLC's. The PLC directs the arm to unload the part either in the acceptance or rejection area. The statistics are concurrently recorded.
