The OST conditions and transmits a stable, low drift signal from strain gauge loadcells to computing devices (PLC and computer)
Typical signals up to 35 millivolts are converted to a choice of voltages or currents.
Voltage Options: 1-5 VDC and 2-10 VDC
Current Options: 0-20 mA and 4-20 mA
Both gain and zeroing adjustments are available. The design of the OST-1 is elegant and compact-yet rugged. The efficient design permits easy and fast installation.
Maximum error: Model OST-1 - .01%
The OST-1 regulates and filters the conditioned voltage for strain gauge loadcells. It requires between 15 VDC and 30 VDC to perform this function.
Amplification and conversion to current of 0-20 mA and 4-20 mA is achieved by onboard precision operational amplifiers. Adjustments for threshold and tare are provided by coarse and fine calibration potentiometers. Gain adjust is also calibrated by separate controls.
Loadcell and computer /PLC connections are easily made using the provided mating terminal connectors.
Voltage outputs of 0-5 VDC, 0-10 VDC or 2-10 VDC are jumper selectable.
